FUN FOR EVERYONE THIS EASTER AT SCATS FARM & COUNTRY BRIDGEND
SCATS Farm & Country, Bridgend is hosting an Easter Fun Day event on Saturday 7th April from 10am - 4pm. With the emphasis firmly on fun, the event will host absorbing and charming interactive dog and duck displays, an array of spectacular model aircraft and boats and provide some superb tips and demonstrations to help customers transform their gardens; all topped off with great seasonal special offers helping you to live simply for less.
The dog and duck display gives a new twist to traditional sheep herding, with an impressive demonstration of duck herding using a professional sheepdog and handler. For model enthusiasts, a purpose built pond is being especially created for the day and will be filled with a fascinating array of motorboats and model sailing boats.
Ian Vaughan Hughes, SCATS Farm & Country Bridgend Store Manager said, “We are very excited about our Easter Fun Day event! We’ve put together a range of fun activities to entertain all ages, but also organised educational demonstrations aimed at helping gardeners at this important time in the gardening calendar.”
For the keen gardener there is plenty on offer with hanging basket demonstrations, helping to uncover the secrets of creating the perfect hanging basket. Visitors will also get the opportunity to have their own hanging basket designed to their specific requirements. The SCATS Farm & Country Bridgend team will be on hand throughout the day to demonstrate some highly effective ways of protecting garden fences, a must for anyone who wants to keep their fences in tip top condition throughout the year.
With all this and a free prize draw, the event is set to offer a great day out for the whole family.
